Cod Oil

LYSI’s Cod Oil is rich in EPA and DHA fatty acids as well as vitamins A and D. The Cod Oil is made from species of Gadidae (cod fish family). The oil is free from genetically modified materials and is neutralized, dried, bleached, winterized and deodorized.

A pale yellow oil. Odour and taste are slightly fishy but not rancid. The oil is obtained from the fresh liver of cod (Gadus morhua) and other species of Gadidae, and/or fish oil from other species of Gadidae. It is neutralized, dried, bleached, winterized and deodorized.

  • The cod oil complies with EU legislation on contaminants in foodstuffs 
  • The cod oil is available in accordance with the parameters of all major pharmacopoeias.
  • The cod oil can be fortified with vitamins A, D and E, antioxidants and flavours.
  • The cod oil is packed under nitrogen and can be delivered in drums, IBC’s, flexitanks or tank containers.
